This Saturday (December 1) we have a very special opportunity to give back to our community by volunteering at the HEB Feast of Sharing, held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Building C at the Coliseum. Before you all start scheduling important events like cleaning your room (Berkley), laminating for mom (Katie), and nursing your spleen (Mark), I want you to know exactly what you will be signing up for:

• Cotton Candy Machine
• Popcorn Machine
• Giant Jumpers
• Cookie Decorating
• Santa & Mrs. Claus's bouncers

Can anyone think those things aren't fun? I highly doubt it. Call me or sign up on Wednesday night if you can go. This is a benefit for Harmony Home, an non-profit organization that helps and counsels abused children. We will be working the first shift of the day from 10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. After your shift is over, maybe you can squeeze in a little time with Santa; its never too early to start putting in your list! 

I know that none of you want to be reminded of Thanksgiving, many of you just having finished that last little bit of turkey and all, but I want to let you know of one of the things that I am thankful for. You're reading it right now. It is this, my blog, through which I will keep you up to date, well-informed, and hopefully a little entertained.
