Well, it was fun. My family loaded up in the big green bus, attended a wedding in Odessa, ate sandwiches in the car, drove to Dallas to spend the night with my grandfather, went to church with him on Sunday, ate sanwiches in the car, drove to Houston to spend time with my aunt, uncle, & cousins and made it in time for church on Sunday night. Over the course of the week, we had shopping trips, tea times, a "big girl" lunch, a picnic, a sightseeing adventure at Ima Hogg's house, and ate sandwiches 2 more times in the car.
Here are some highlights:

This is the Diana garden at Ima Hogg's house...it was truly spectacular, unfortunately, I did not get the "look cute" memo. I got the "playing in the park" memo. You can check out the entire grounds at: www.mfah.org/bayoubend/garden.asp

This is a GREAT low budget movie that my cousin Sarah & I selected from Blockbuster. It was sooo good...in a cheesy, embarassing, kind-of confusing way. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a good flick.

This would be the Cookie Monster from Cheddar's...worth it.
Spring Break '09 was a total success. I can't wait until next year!
