Hey all!
It has been a long time since I was on the blog bandwagon...I got really busy doing things that I can't remember in this moment, but things that were very important, I am sure. I'm sure my 1.2 readers didn't miss me, right? :)
Oh, just remembered some of the things that I have been doing. I had to star in a photo shoot! Here is one of the many awesome shots that were taken by family friend and personal photog, Jenn Bellah:

This was the sister mugshot...clearly Mandie (far left), Anna (3rd from right), and Addie (baby sister) have experience in this area.
Next up, it was time for a gradumaction...a really LLLLLOOOONNNNNGGGG one, too. Anyone ever heard of Texas Tech? Well, when Millie graduated, the decision makers thought, "What would be the worst thing we could do to these kids who have worked so hard to obtain degrees?" The answer they came up with? "Let's make 3,000,000 of them graduate at the same time and make their poor families sit through 2,999,999 names until the 1.5 seconds it takes for their loved one's name to be called!!!" And guess what? They succeeded!
I also had another big event on this past weekend's agenda: Mother's Day. I am NOT a mom, but working with 20 teens and living with 2 teens, 1 preteen, and 1 kiddie sure makes me feel like it sometimes. But more than that, I have a great mom that I wanted to celebrate! She has become more than my mom...she truly is one of my best friends. I don't ever want to take her for granted because back in 2004, we weren't sure whether we would have these days with her. We did have a wonderful day with her, though, and she scored an under the counter cd player, a giftcard to Lowe's and some really bizarre Turbie Twists.

Did I mention this is how we started the morning? Yummy! Hot off the icing highway, oh my gosh, I could just die.

Just in case you didn't know what a Turby Twist really was!!! No, they are not cooler in person.
Anyway, all that to say, I have been busy doing important stuff. I look forward to being back on the blog full-time soon. See you guys Sunday!
