It has been a great honor to be on staff here at Mission Dorado Baptist Church for over 10 years. The "Joy in the Journey" for me has been finding Jesus as my Savior! Student Ministries Coordinator
Maurie Bratcher
A lifelong resident of Odessa, Maurie is no stranger to Mission Dorado Baptist Church. She grew up in the church and was a part of the youth group herself. While in college, she felt God leading her into full-time ministry. After spending two summers working in student ministry at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, Maurie returned to West Texas and to her home church. Maurie is also no stranger to students – the second oldest of eight children, she has witnessed 5 siblings & their friends come into teenhood!
Maurie graduated from UTPB in 2006 with a degree in communication and is currently working on a degree in Spanish. She has a heart for equipping students to study God’s Word for themselves.
